Speed Up Windows XP


Today We will Learn About Old Windows XP with Minimum Performance. 
Here, we will try to Improve the old windows xp into more speed.


How To Speed Up Windows XP


 Follow all this step Correctly :-

How to Check RAM ( Random Access Memory )
Start > My Computer > General > see how much MB of you RAM
RAM below 1GB is low and need to Change or Upgrade.

Hide Active desktop 
Right Click > Arrange Icons By > Show Desktop Icons.

Error-Checking
Start > My Computer > Right Click "Local Disk C" @ "Local Disk D" > Properties > Tools > Error-checking > Check Now....
Check disk options Select :
1) Automatically fix file system errors
2) Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sector

*Sometimes this will popup " The disk check could not be performed......... Do you want to schedule this disk .......?" if that happen, Click Yes. When the next day you restart you computer... the error-checking will occur. Please wait until it’s done.

* 5 to 6 Phase

Disk Clean Up

Start > My Computer > Right Click "Local Disk C" @ "Local Disk D" > Properties > General > Disk Cleanup
Disk Cleanup > Files to delete : > [Tick] all option there > OK > Delete Files > OK

*It will permanently delete all the files.

Defragmentation
Start > My Computer > Right Click "Local Disk C" @ "Local Disk D" > Properties > Tools > Defragmentation > Defragment Now....
Click Analyze > Defragment


Remove Non Important GUI (Graphic User Interface)
Start > My Computer > Advanced > Settings > Visual Effects > Choose [ Adjust for best performance ] > OK
*If you do this step, you computer will look like very old computer without any GUI. Remember it..
Desktop Clean Up
Right Click > Properties > Desktop > Customize Desktop..
General > Desktop icons > [Untick]
1) My Documents
2) My Computer
3) My Network Places

Desktop Cleanup > Clean Desktop Now > Next > [Tick] all the shortcut > Next > Finish > ok


Use a Virtual Memory as extra memory in Windows XP


Start > Open Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performanced
Performanced > Settings > Advanced > Virtual Memory > Change > Select other drive such as "D" ( It’s not “C” ). > [Tick] Let System Manage The Size > Press “Set Once” > OK > Restart Computer to Take Effect

        *Remember to follow all steps we provide in here to make sure you get the Best Result
*Make sure to use empty flash drive.

Auto-Hide the taskbar
Right Click the taskbar > Taskbar > Taskbar appearance > [Tick] Auto-hide the taskbar

Remove the programs on Start Menu

Right Click the taskbar > Start Menu >  Start menu [Customize...]
General > Programs > Clear List >
Then...
Advanced > Recent documents > Clear List > OK

*Remember... All this process may take a Minute or even an Hours to complete. Please be Patient... especially Error-Checking & Defragmentation step.
